Well my CTAT Idler pulley took a dive this weekend. Looks like it was just wornout or an installer issue. I was the installer by the way. When I first installed the idler pulley it seems a little tight and that should have been my first clue but I had a lot going on that day during the initial install. Anyway I will be ordering the parts from Comptech today with any luck. I did look at the JRSC static tensioner and it looks like the idler pulley from it might be the same pulley so I am going to try and use it today until my new part comes in.
I wonder if there is a way to make the idler pulley beefier than this plastic unit?
Here is a pic of the plastic idler pulley that died. I drove home 30 miles like this very veryand let me say VERY carefully but I made it.

Here is a pic of the belt running on what should be the idler pulley but instead the metal pulley the plastic idler should be on.

Here is a pic of the Belt shread it created.
